Random patterns
Hail impacts typically occur in irregular, random patterns across exposed roof surfaces. During an inspection, we look for consistent evidence across shingles and other roofing components rather than relying on a single questionable mark.
Hail & blistering are not the same!
Hail impacts and shingle blistering can sometimes look similar, but they have different causes. Blistering is generally associated with the roofing material itself, aging, heat, or manufacturing characteristics, while hail damage results from external impact. An experienced roof inspection can help distinguish between the two.
